Howdy strangers, it’s been a while……..

We’ve been pretty silent here in Swoon & Blues blog land, so we thought we’d post a wee update. Lee’s little man Wolfie is now 1 and Katja has started Kindy. Lee has some great ideas brewing for some new S & B fashion items, including beautifully tailored coats.  I’ve been teaching, drawing, painting, making and designing. Here is a sneak peek of what I’ve been up to. I’m getting back into the Swoon & Blues swing of things for 2013 and have some market stalls lined up in the next few months (details to come).

2012 Xmas POP UP shop

Over the weekend I transformed my lounge room, which is in an old corner shop, back into a shop for the day. It was a fantastic day with lots of friends dropping in and people popping in from the street. We sold lots of stock and will definitely be doing it again!

New print for summer

Wallpaper samples

I recently received a selection of my designs digitally printed onto wallpaper. It’s great to see the designs actual size and make the required scale changes to suit the design. I’m really happy with how the abstract designs have turned out. Now to decide which one I’ll get printed for my wall! ….Lisa

In Search of Better Planets

I’ve just refreshed my desktop wallpaper with one of my artworks ‘In Search of Better Planets’. I’ve managed to organise all my files and folders into just three folders. Wow, nothing like a desktop clean to feel a little more organised! I hope it helps you out too. Enjoy and share around if you like….Lisa

Interwoven Melbourne

I had a lovely time in Melbourne last weekend catching up with friends, going to a friends album launch (the amazing Pony Face) AND to top it off, I got to see two of my fabric drops in the Vic DIA Interwoven exhibition. Click here for the catalogue and here for opening night pics. Such a great city, if only Melbourne was closer!…..Lisa
